ZB 16 - Dynamics of nanocrystal structure induced by surface chemistry (Z.Kaszkur)

The thesis proposes new approach to analyze domain structure of fcc nanoparticles. Commonly, they contain stacking faults and the stacking planes (111) contain atoms in hcp-like environment. Our approach enables estimation from their diffrection pattern of the average size of a single domain as well as their average number in the cluster. Part of the outcome was covered by publication I.Smirnov, Z.Kaszkur, A.Hoell, Nanoscale, 2023, 15, 8633 "Development of nanoparticle bulk morphology nalysis: a multidomain XRD approach".
