PhD defended on Sept. 25^th 2019.

Graduated from the Dept. of Chemistry of Warsaw Technical University in 2015 receiving the highest note and ranked the first amongs all this year graduates of his department. During the work on his MSc thesis (concerning catalysis on gold) he on his own has designed and assembled environmental chamber for process control and in situ IR studies. During this time he also gathered experience in a number of experimental techniques requiring good knowledge of crystallography as well as gained commanding expertise in HRTEM samples preparation, measurements and image interpretation. His PhD thesis (prepared in less than 4 years) involved also catalysis by gold but focused on precise monitoring of the catalyst structure during CO oxidation. It was studied by both: our in situ PXRD technique as well as in situ TEM.
