Title: CRITICAL-TEMPERATURE AND CONCENTRATION VERSUS MOLECULAR-WEIGHT IN POLYMER BLENDS - CONFORMATIONS, FLUCTUATIONS, AND THE GINZBURG CRITERION
Abstract: We use the field-theoretical methods to derive the self-consistent equations (Hartree approximation) for the location of the point in binary mixtures of polymers. The small parameter in loop expansion is the inverse of the square root of the number of (monomers) in a polymer chain 1/ square-root N. Both the ideal conformation and fluctuation corrections to the Flory-Huggins mean result are taken into account.
