Abstract: Voltametrically stable (ABTS(2-)) modified was obtained by sol-gel processing of methyltrimethoxysilane sol with dissolved ABTS2- together with dispersed graphite Next, extracellular laccase from Cerrena unicolor was within a thin hydrophilic tetramethoxysilane film on the the electrode. The obtained ABTS(2-) modified carbon ceramic exhibits stable voltammetry corresponding to the surface oxidation reduction process. The biocatalytic activity of this is similar to that observed when ABTS2- is present in solution. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
