Title: In situ micro-Raman studies of syringaldazine-entrapped composite electrodes modified with laccase
Abstract: Raman spectroscopy studies of oxidation of (syringaldazine) encapsulated silica and composite carbon electrodes were performed. The presence reduced and oxidized forms of syringaldazine present at various was determined using Raman spectroscopy. The structure of the form was discussed on the basis of theoretically predicted A comparison of Raman spectra of syringaldazine oxidized and in reaction with laccase from Cerrena unicolor within a thin hydrophilic silicate film on the electrode shows presence of two oxidized forms of the former, while only one form was detected in the laccase containing electrodes.
