Title: Photonic properties of multicontinuous cubic phases
Abstract: We present a systematic study of the photonic properties (band of periodic multicontinuous cubic phases based on the P, D, I-WP, F-RD, and C(P) triply periodic minimal surfaces. We investigate structures with up to five separate interwoven subvolumes. The of the dielectric constant modulation at different spatial is discussed. The lowest dielectric constant contrasts required to observe the full three-dimensional photonic band gaps are stated.
